Property Taxes
You must register your property with the Cook County Treasurer's Office in order to receive the correct tax bill. Each unit is assigned a PIN number for the unit and another PIN for your parking space. The form to change your address can be found at the Cook County Treasurer's Web site.
Go to the Cook County Treasurer's online form and enter your PINs: 17-22-314-033-xxxx. You have a PIN for your unit and another PIN for your parking space.
Anything entered in the PROPERTY LOCATION field will not show up in the address area when they mail the tax bills. It is best to put your parking/unit number in the NAME or ADDRESS field. If it doesn't fit, abbreviate your first name. Here is an example for a parking space:
Name: J. Smith P180 Address: 221 E Cullerton #1342 Property Location: Parking Space #180 @ 221 E. Cullerton
